You don't know persecution.An uncle of mine ended up dying as an indirect consequence of quitting a job when he was assigned new duties that he felt he could not morally accept. That's persecution. Ms. Davis will just have to find another job. No different than an observant but not orthodox Jew who might have to quit his job as a chef if his employer decided to start serving pork dishes. Her life and even livelihood are not at risk. |
