I don’t know how one becomes a county clerk in Kentucky, but when she took the job the job requirements were not contrary to the tenets of her faith. Now her responsibilities have been changed to include things she cannot do. I don’t think she should just quit with no recourse. And I am someone who has little tolerance for government officials imposing their religion on others.
