That idiotic statement by Bush is proof positive that he is not big enough for the office he seeks, and unless we can win over some of those groups you mentioned we will be in the woods for years.Oddly, even though I'm a Democrat and fit the definition of an "anchor baby" (my mother was an undocumented nonresident alien when I was born in the US), Bush's statement doesn't offend me. I have no problem with taking people who have lied on their visitor's visa application and showing them the door. |
