The polls have been closed for six hours and already the results are starting to trickle in. The National Party has been showing strong in the South Midlands (unsurprising) and also on the Western Fringe (somewhat worrying).Far more worrying is that the Nationals are making an unusually strong showing around the capital— normally, they don't do too well at home. That said, most of the decidedly Liberal and Conservative bastions haven't reported yet so it's not time to worry— Kalitar went Republican in 2005 and the Conservatives just took the sector without them. |
