Here in NY the black market for cigarettes is HUGE, especially in the Asian and Russian communities.It's still considerably smaller than the legal market. Besides making under-the-table monies, the cost of "combatting" the drugs is too cost effective for the taxpayers. Er, what? Are you saying that the government makes money off illegal drugs, or that it wastes money trying to fight them? Hmmm.. It depends on certain factors such as medical reasons- is the mother's life in danger if she carries full term? Does it matter whether her life is in danger? Or does she have the right to terminate a pregnancy regardless? Is the kid going to come out like you, a retard, etc... Seriously? You managed to act like a grown-up for this one exchange and I have treated you like one accordingly. Don't ruin it. For a normal pregnancy, the father should have some legal standing, BUT if the kid is born, HE sould be legally liable to single-handedly raise it and provide financial support. So the father should be able to force her to carry the pregnancy to term as long as he agrees to take full custody of the kid or pay 100% of the child support costs? How come? Why does contributing 50% of his DNA to a mass of slowly growing tissues allow him to exert control over a living woman's body? |
