If you decrease the supply of legal guns, you would just increase the desperation of those who want to steal them.As you decrease the supply of stem cells in a person's body (ie, as they grow older), you increase their desperation for immortality. Yet immortality has not been discovered. They would become like cocaine. No they wouldn't. Coca literally grows in the ground. Guns have to be manufactured. Cocaine is imported from countries with less ability to enforce bans. Guns are all made locally and then exported to the cocaine-growing countries. Mexico has strict gun control but is swamped by American guns. If America shuts down the gun supply, where will the guns come from? Even the black market is supplied by legal guns that are sold without a background check or stolen from legal owners. |
