While a minority of people here were truly nasty to Dan at a personal level, for most of us it was the same kind of benign needling that we all do to each other. It would be absurd if we had to all walk on egg shells with each other for fear that one of us will get seriously ill in the future. For example, I have disagreed with Dan over the merits of indoor soccer vs the actual "Beautiful Game" but that's what OTChat is for. Disagreeable discussion over non-transit related topics. If God forbid, AMoreira81 ever got sick, should I feel guilty for mocking his legal opinions by posting the WTF Cat? If this board ends up going on for decades, we will eventually all die on each other. |
