No need to keep it on transit over here, but appreciate the effort and agree. In my own realm, I owned a radio station and when our license for it expired, I ended up with the entire collection of 12 years of "promotional copy - do not sell" vinyl from 1969 to 1978 and managed to hold onto that as well as about 600 reels of taped shows we did.

Sadly, when our house was destroyed in Hurricane Irene, had to move out of there into a much smaller place than what we had. Ended up selling ALL of the records to a guy that came up from Brooklyn to get them and all those tapes ended up in a dumpster from water damage. They were not recoverable since they were kept in boxes in the basement. That's one loss I deeply regret as we had some serious classics from interviews with John Lennon and many others, Zacherle shows, actual plays and "old fashioned radio" stuff that we did with our own staff and writers and a large amount of other classic stuff. WXVU-FM was one of the most unique and eclectic radio stations that ever existed.

We were a radio station that hired ONLY musicians because we insisted on musical segues that flowed from one cut to another where you couldn't tell where one tune ended and the next one began. Only musicians could make that concept fit knowing the music that intimately. But what made it worse was that we did a lot of LIVE programming with musicians (especially jazz) where our crew had the legends come into our studios and jam with them in front of live mics. It was that which I regret losing the most. You can't put an insurance value on such unique stuff. :(
