You rode to the right, passing left-to-left (your non-sword hand) as a friendly gesture, meaning neither of you wanted to engage in fun and games.BTW, which side you drive on is known as "The Rule of the Road" and quite a bit has been written about it. Driving situations have their own etiquette, for example single track roads with passing spaces. |
