My thoughts:

1) True, Netanyahu could have given the speech from Israel but most Americans wouldn't have paid any attention to it. He gave a very credible speech and now most Americans are at least somewhat aware that there might be a problem with Obama's approach.

2) I think when people say most American Jews, they are projecting their own feelings. I have no discomfort with the decision. I wish that it hadn't been so polarizing but the speech itself was not. It was the old democrat vs Republican that got twisted around this issue.

3) I agree

4)Again, I agree

5)The contrast was made quite evident by the clear and concise reasoning presented by the Prime Minister. He presented a very clear and understandable explanation of why he didn't like the deal as he understood it. I personally agree with the reasoning. I think that our president should have been listening and learning how a strong, decisive leader speaks and acts instead of pretending not to be listening while finding reasons to disagree with the speech. On the other hand, I can see why some in congress might disagree as the urgency felt in Israel over this issue is not felt in this country.
