That's even more hilariously convoluted than trying to claim they're in NY state. So should we slap "NYM" next to their logos, for New York Metropolitan Area? Clearly they should be the New York City Metropolitan Statistical Area Jets/Giants.

The Jets fans can barely manage to spell the four lousy letters in their team's name, it'd be fun to see how many of them would make it through NYCMSA.
