The only real problem with NY -- and this is a NY choice, not mandated by Obama, -- is that all the plans use closed networks -- if you go out-of-network, there is no coverage.If we had a federal single payer system, none of this would matter. But if you find a plan in which your main doctors participate... And if I find a time machine, I'll take pictures of the 6th Avenue el. none of the plans are allowed to -- nor do they -- ask about your pre-existing conditions. It doesn't matter why they won't cover me, I'm still paying out of pocket. |
