The only real problem with NY -- and this is a NY choice, not mandated by Obama, -- is that all the plans use closed networks -- if you go out-of-network, there is no coverage. Perhaps this is your problem?But if you find a plan in which your main doctors participate, you should be able to find a reasonably priced pan. And if you don't make a ton of money, you may even qualify for premium subsidies which lower costs tremendously. Regarding your mystery unnamed condition, none of the plans are allowed to -- nor do they -- ask about your pre-existing conditions. |
