Without provocation? What 12 year old in their right mind would not listen to the police's orders to show their hands THEN reach for a gun (real, pellet, or fake, doesn't matter)and expect NOT to get shot? And the parents sound like typical irresponsible savages who failed as parents in raising the kid to be a productive member of society.
