It has nothing to do with cameras, as that is a relatively new thing, and they are far from all over. I have no problem with the school zones during school days, as kids do come and go during the day, and after school activities, etc. So if a "7-7" zone was in effect, I don't see a problem with it. But it should only be in effect school days.

That said, some zones have flashing lights on the sign when it's in effect. If those lights are off, can you still get a ticket?
Also, if there is no sign that says "on school days", or gives a time, can you get a ticket at let's say "2:00 PM on a Saturday".....or let's say 1:00AM in the middle of the night? Most school zones don't post a time, and many don't have the flashing lights either.
