Why shouldn't the Palestinians have a state of their own like nearly every other group of people on this planet...Like what? There's no railfan state, no atheist state, no egalitarian state and no people-who-read-XKCD state. If you want to go by vaguely defined ancestry-based demographics, there's no Romani state and no Ashkenazi state. There are tons of unique "peoples" native to the Americas and Australia, but none of them have had a state for a good long while. Just recently, a Scottish state was rejected. What's with you and your desire to segregate every ethnic group into a dedicated Ethnic Group State anyway? Why is it is Israel's job to govern a group of people who it doesn't want to govern and don't want Israel governing them? Every other country does it. Why should Israel get special treatment? The Palestinians say they want a state. They can have it... ...except Israel won't let them. |
