Why shouldn't the Palestinians have a state of their own like nearly every other group of people on this planet (which by definition is assumed to be separate from other states, and therefore, those other states are not responsible for its welfare, infrastructure, etc.)? Why is it is Israel's job to govern a group of people who it doesn't want to govern and don't want Israel governing them? The Palestinians say they want a state. They can have it, provided they get along with their neighbors and are willing to build it themselves the way every other successful state does. |
