Frankly, it would hardly matter if it were true. You simply cannot compare America to Switzerland— in terms of cultural maturity, the latter is working at a decent job and saving money for retirement, while the former will be growing out of diapers any day now.In Switzerland, basically everyone is required to own a gun, which they treat like a lethal weapon, keeping it safely locked away almost all the time. Meanwhile, in America, most gun owners treat their guns like substitute penes, in the sense that they consider it proof of their physical might and in the sense that they spend a lot of time "playing" with it. |
