I also come from a family of cops, also on many levels. But that is not the point I'm trying to make. I'm not comparing blacks to Palestinian, and I really don't get that line at all.my point, boiled down to the simplest. "A Black person is most at risk for being harmed by another black person, and therefor, the primary efforts of the black community should be to work to minimize that risk" This is an unequal response to a serious problem. Al Sharpton wants to march across the Verrazano to protest the Garner incident, but where is he when something happens within the black community. Why doesn't the news talk about these events for hours on end? |
