As for whether it is done by Jews, or a term they use, is irrelevant, the discussion was about your use of it being an exclusively Catholic process which is incorrect.No, he was saying that it's the Catholic word for it, not that it's a Catholic only process. He's acknowledging that other religions have similar processes. But he's saying that only Catholics call it excommunication. Which is wrong. |
