Sure, the government is small and there aren't any taxes, but the government does handle law enforcement and does so without regard for wealth and status. If I stopped maintaining my infrastructure and a train derailed on the broken worn-out track resulting in several fatalities, my CEO could go to prison for several counts of negligent homicide— showing he'd allocated money to the MOW budget with the expectation the rails would be kept in repair would keep him out of prison, but showing he'd allocated money to an expensive lawyer wouldn't.My employees having to take responsibility for the stuff they do in my name is more influential than the regulations that I'd face in America. Something tells me Olog wouldn't be too happy about it though. |
