I do feel better but I do not believe in BMI, it's found to be a flawed measurement and indicates nothing of general health.

You're telling me!

For some reason. my doctor insists on telling my BMI measurements during every annual checkup. When I went in last year, I had lost enough weight to be seriously scrawny and for the first time the BMI pronounced me "not overweight." Now that I'm back up to a healthy weight I'd probably measure as "obese."
