Many mainstream Christian groups (among others) will happily accept that God set the world in motion before the big bang and has only interfered in a very limited way since then.

And they pray because...?

Sure, turning water into wine violates all the laws of physics. But it's not actually part of Christian dogma.

It's part of Catholic dogma. Other sects reject it.

The one item that really defies the laws of physics and is essential dogma is that Jesus's disciples went to the tomb the next day and his body had vanished.

So Jesus's body vanished, but otherwise he was never seen again? Christians believe we should worship the guy because someone nicked his body after he was killed? I'm pretty sure they may have mentioned something about him coming back to life.
