Cool work...it's too bad that you are locked in to XP because of those apps. And you could probably use a Mac if you didn't need that AutoDesk App. AutoCAD/Microstation and ESRI ArcView GIS are the apps that I'm having trouble migrating to Linux. At least the ESRI software works decently in my XP virtual machine with the stuff we do for my GIS class. I'm amused that the ESRI software is not really that great of a Windows app in terms of it's file chooser and some other interface features.Matt |
