I think the "Reagan Democrat" phenomenon is unique and does not indicate increasing conservatism.The other thing that I think is likely is that people become more liberal over time, but not the same people. This causes people whose political views are otherwise unchanged to appear more conservative. I'm not sure about that one either given the increasing conservatism of the Republ |
