The ACLU picks and chooses the causes it wishes to take on.that's what they're supposed to do. That's their reason for existing. the "Civil Liberties" part in "American Civil Liberties Union" is kind of a giveaway. What would you have them do? File a brief in favor of the Govt in the NSA case? Defend correctional departments over abused inmates? |
