What this translates too:No extension to B71 or B77 no added service to B6 possible delay in ordering 370 new buses(but didn't the city allready order new Orion VII NG buses ?) no new express service 2nd avenue subway never opening..and i'm 38 so i don't see it opening either. |

Wrong, alot of people do take B77 because it connects to two subway station that doesnt serve Red Hook.BTW these 2 bus route need the extension because Simith and 9th Street is going to be closed when the renovation is taken place, there is no altenative transportation going to Manhattan for the Red Hook residents. |

Most of the changes should happen anyway as the money for them was not tied to the Mayor`s moronic plan and he better not tie the 2nd Avenue subway to it either as that would be almost a crime. I do agree that we need to remove cars from Manhattan,no argument there but to charge somebody $8 to pass through Manhattan to get to the Lincoln / Holland tunnels or George Washington Bridge was insane. Sheldon Silver & the Assembly listened to the people of the city & did what the majority wanted. Mayor Billionaire needs to listen to and understand the working people who live paycheck to paycheck which I grant you is unlike himself. Thankfully he can not run for a third term, two was too much. |
