Most of the changes should happen anyway as the money for them was not tied to the Mayor`s moronic plan and he better not tie the 2nd Avenue subway to it either as that would be almost a crime. I do agree that we need to remove cars from Manhattan,no argument there but to charge somebody $8 to pass through Manhattan to get to the Lincoln / Holland tunnels or George Washington Bridge was insane. Sheldon Silver & the Assembly listened to the people of the city & did what the majority wanted. Mayor Billionaire needs to listen to and understand the working people who live paycheck to paycheck which I grant you is unlike himself. Thankfully he can not run for a third term, two was too much. |
