No one is expecting a large long term decline in transit use.Certain individual manufacturing facilities have been closed temporarily to contain the virus, but no one is proposing any long term closures. An assembly line is much less of a threat to spreading the virus than a restaurant, because you work side by side with the same group of people every day. |

I saw on one of the Facebook bus groups that Gillig has temporarily shut down production, unknown when they will resume operations. I haven't read or heard anything about MCI/New Flyer or Nova/Prevost.Mark |

True, but the virus only survives on inanimate surfaces for 72 hours, and the delivery takes weeks, going through all sort of temperature and humdity situations.There is no reported danger in accepting your personal shipments from China. Just wash off the box and wash your hands after you handle the shipping box it came in. |
