Or if you are lucky (like me and others) to get the permanent card within 1 hour when going to 3 Stone.I did get a temporary card at 3 Stone when my permanent card went bad after only 1 1/2 months of use. Took 3.5 weeks to get the permanent card back in the mail. |

One idiot said the cards MAY have been mailed in alphabetical order. Does my last name start in "Z". To which I replied emphatically NO. He just fumfered through and referred me to another number to call. One CS rep can't handle another department's function.I took to the "CHAT" on Septa's website. Twice. One agent gave me a totally wrong number, area code and all! The second time, I was on with an agent 31 minutes but he was as helpful as he could be, with retaking all my pertinent info and bringing it to the Key Card unit, who, at some point today, would research and give him an answer, which he would then email to me. At 8:39pm, still no results. |

I forgot to mention, in DC, you get the card immediately, senior card, one pays $2 with no picture, and medicare/disabled, one takes a picture and it is immediately printed up and is free. |

Posted by TransitChuckG on Tue Jul 4 15:05:45 2017, in response to SEPTA Senior Card, posted by northshore on Tue Jan 10 07:50:57 2017. I have been hearing little tidbits on Facebook about people having troubles with the regular Key Cards, storing inaccurate amounts, i.e., running out of value , etc. When I ride the buses, everybody's Key card or Senior Key Card seems to work, it beeps properly, a two-tone beep for a regular KEY card and triple sound beep for Seniors. My Senior card always works except if the reader box is not functioning, then the driver waves you on.Senior Key Card I am still hearing the stories about people waiting for their Key Cards, Septa is having a hard time keeping up with the demand, it seems. Septa admits the Key system software is faulty, so we struggle through it. |

One hand doesn't know...If that's case, get a new vendor. Take more positive control over the matter. After all, it is SEPTA that's getting the bad rap. |
