So everyone is clear on this: YES, we handle CASH on these lines, although a ticket MUST be purchased for trips leaving the PABT. Unfortunately for the operators, the amount of cash on the 166 can bequite high especially on the weekends. NJT considers this a "full service" line, thus change is made to customers. Though many customers use monthly passes and tickets, there is much cash. This was also an isolated incident. Hold ups of operators are a thing of the past, at least in Bergen County. |
