I hope that never happens but it doesn't seem that far fetched at all. Avella who was running for Mayor against Thompson in the democratic primary actually suggested something like that during the primary debate, to abandon the Second Avenue Subway and spread the funds around to the other boroughs. There may be others who agree with him.

With respect to parking enforcement or fare enforcement? BrooklynBus stated elsewhere in this thread that he was referring to fare enforcement. Do you have proof to offer that his statements about a lack of fare enforcement is not true?

Okay, that is a problem owing to the fact that some of these machines are unreliable and break down too often. The machines at the westbound Williamsbridge Road station are particularly prone to breakdowns.

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response.

Wrong, M15 route is on the East Side. (#1 LOCAL) train is on the West Side. The fastest route going from Harlem to South Ferry is the (#4, and #5)EXPRESS trains on the East Side.

What about Bergen light rail.

Hudson-Bergen Light Rail (the Bergen portion doesn't even exist yet).....

But the TVMs do work well (they're just slow, especially when it comes to credit/debit card purchases, main reason why I'm happy that NJT finally put new TVMs at the New Brunswick station). They are under constant watch and maintenance though because whenever there is a problem with one, an outside contractor does respond rather quickly and fix them.

I haven't heard many problems with the new TVMs.
