It would've been interesting if they were able to tip the bus by putting weights on the top to simulate CNG tanks, because the CNG Orion V's lean quite a bit on turns, more than the diesel version, thats for sure. |

Actually, the CNG RTS has more of a leaning problem, because it is so top-heavy.At least Neoplan USA on its Transliner (standard-floor) put the CNG tanks under the floor. |

That's a decision by the operator, not the manufacturer. If the operator buys a roof-level filling system, then that's where they need the tanks, regardless of the bus manufacturer. Flxible also offered ground- or roof-level CNG tanks, and NJT's CNG MCIs have their tanks in the rearmost luggage compartment. |
