I ask because I shot it today in the lot, but didn't stick around to see it leave while I unsuccessfully sought a window-side shot of 6020 (I had shot 6020 over the summer in Staten Island). |

Again it has to do with Specifications, ok How the customer wants the bus to be built. For any bus to last in New York City it has to be a strong and well built one or you can forget it. New Flyer did and excellent job with the D60HF's that we have and they are holding up very well. Orion's here in this city to me suck but I have been to other places both here and in Canada and I love them! and the same goes for NovaBus. You may not like the New Flyers and that is your opinion, remember Opinions are like A$$ H0L3$ everybody's got one. |

So you're basing the quality of an entire manufacturer's product on the continued purchase of the same model by ONE TA? That's like saying Orions are excellent buses, having only ridden the O7NG...New Flyers are decently built buses, the D60HF is not a bad bus, maybe NYCT's aren't so great, but I've been on many that have better ride quality and are better maintained/spec'd than NYCT's... Orions are OK, ours I can't really stand because I happen not to like their ride quality, but WMATA's and many I've ridden in California and Ontario seem far better in comparison... Same goes for any manufacturer's models... Bottom line, get around and see everyone else's products before you come to these conclusions...it will enrich and entertain. --Dr. C What The Doctor Ordered... |
