Tickets get issued for "improperly placed bus identification numbers", "improper color on company legals" (they should be BLACK, not blue as on the S89), "excessive tinting on passenger windows" and all sorts of stuff. What do you think will happen to buses with no legals, logbooks/trip sheets (no, paddles don't count) and other stuff?

New York City Transit is ASSUMED to be legal because they are expected to know the law. Of course, they have used this assumption to run illegally. Buses like this get busted when they commit a traffic violation or get into an accident and if that happens in NJ, you've got problems. If that is what the MTA wants to happen...
