Continuing with RTD/MTA yards...

2 views of Division 8 (West Valley) from June 1996. The RTS-04s in the second pic were being stored at D8, but a few of them were later activated for use by contractors (I forget exactly which #s).

First pic was taken in early 1991, when Division 12 (Long Beach) was very much active. By the time of the 2nd pic (November 1997), D12 had been closed as a revenue division, and was hosting 1992/3 Methanol powered TMC RTS-06s until they could be converted to diesel. It is still being used as a storage facility for out of service buses, but I think I read that MTS is thinking of selling it. It was closed in June 1997, as a cost-cutting measure, since many of its routes had been contracted, and the remainder shifted to D18.
