(Check out the lean on the last pic). These had my favorite DDEC 8V71 engines. Nice to hear them again as $%&^$#%SCRTD had converted theirs to 6V92 back in 1984.

And saving the best for last...






New Looks!!! I got to ride one, and saw the bulder's plate indicating it had been built in 1972 (!) Obviously, it had been seriously Blitzed or Nimco'd at some point, probably in the early or mid '80s. The A/C worked good too. Alas, that was probably their swan song (I was there late July-early August of 1990), as later in 90, TheBus received some TMC RTS-06s, which no doubt put the Flxys out to pasture.
