To truly have an anti-car agenda, you have to spend so much money on bus service it is not feasible. At the bare minimum, you would have to increase bus service both local and express to 1980s levels citywide, at least, if not more than that. They're good with making hard decisions as to who's service to cut. Decisions are made that the private companies would not do because they were more directly accountable. |
