I know there were plans to take over other NYCTA routes that failed during the same time period. Also talks of the Queebs operators taking over Fifth Avenue Coach routes failed.Later on, I also remember reading that Triboro Coach had a proposal to take over the Q88 around 1975 and that Queens Transit had a proposal to run a branch of route Q25/34 in competition with the Q44VP |
