SBS on the B46 has been a huge failure, and totally killed ridership on the route past Woodhull Hospital since the SBS stupidly doesn’t go past DeKalb, and local service has deteriorated significantly in the past few years. The days of B46s leaving Williamsburg Bridge Plaza with a fully seated load are long gone thanks to the MTA’s incompetence.If only the IND Second System was built as planned, we’d have a 2nd Avenue subway down Utica Avenue to Floyd Bennett Field/Sheepshead Bay instead of some mediocre sBS. |
