Thanks!It is, and there are a variety of factors that led to that, main one being the pandemic. Manhattan south of 96th Street saw some of the largest drops of ridership in the entire system. For some of the others, the photos/videos were taken close to their origin/terminals, at a point where most people are not on the bus. The Jamaica footage on the Q54 is the outlier in this case, because more people in SE Queens are dependant on public transit, and because Parsons Blvd is one of a few stops in Jamaica on that route where people tend to get on/off. |
