Initially, MaBSTOA employees who had spouse passes were given the choice between keeping the MaBSTOA only passes with the spouse privilege and Bus/Subway passes for the employee only/no spouse. Many chose the option with the spouse privilege because they lived in areas where they didn't need a subway pass. I believe that now the spouse privilege has been eliminated entirely. I have no knowledge of the pass setups that existed on the privates before they became part of MTA Bus so, like you I don’t know what might have been grandfathered in or eliminated. |
