I completely get where the MTA is coming from in wanting to truncate the Woodhaven SBS service to Queens Center, whether I agree with it or not. It's not the most efficient use of tax dollars to continue running a duplicative bus service down a street which not only has frequent (albeit overcapacity) subway service, but will also have its own bus line soon according to this new plan. It's also probably why the service gap on Roosevelt Avenue throughout Corona is still going to be there even though the demand for such a route is so obvious. |
