FACO started the #3 Convent Ave. branch to directly serve the CCNY campus and the summer concerts at Lewisohn Stadium on the campus. #3 buses marked "Convent" branched off the St. Nicholas Ave. routing between 114th and 151st Streets. On a map Convent Avenue appears to be a short block to the west of St. Nicholas, but a steep cliff is the way above 127th Street. |
