Posted by IRTRedbirdR33 on Wed Sep 11 09:53:20 2019 Tuscarora Almanac - September 11, 1977 - The Book of First Runs Jamaica, New York New York City Transit Authority Queens Bus Division A new bus route known as the Q-49 Jamaica Avenue Limited begins service today. It will operate along Jamaica Avenue between 168 Street and Queens Boulevard stopping only at 160 Street and Sutphin Boulevard replacing the Jamaica Avenue subway line which was cut back to Queens Boulevard.
