The proposal seems to have been quietly dropped a few years ago. I don't think there's been any mention of it from the MTA in about the last three years, which presumably means they decided against implementing it. Probably not enough demand, and they figured people who did want it could ride the subway or the Bx15 to 125th St. and get the M60. But it would be nice if there were some official statement on the matter. |
