MTA Bus is planning to reconstruct and expand the existing Jamaica Bus Depot located at 165-18 Tuskegee Airmen Way in Jamaica, Queens, NY.1. I wasn't sure of the location until I realized that "Tuskegee Airmen Way" really means "South Road." 2. This project should not be funded by MTA Bus Company, but should instead be funded by New York City Transit Authority. Funding by MTA Bus Company means that the city of New York would be entirely responsible for the project. Yet, no MTA Bus Company service is provided by this garage. This sounds like a scheme to take advantage of the city. |
