Wasn't it on or about this date in '84 that the rush-hours only M5 branch that traveled through Riverside Drive up to 157th Street - a route which was descended from the old FACCo Rt. 19 (but in this form only ran since 1965) - was also discontinued for good WB: I didn't think that anyone else remembered the rush hour service along Riverside Drive between 135th Street and 157th Street. The 1984, 85 and 87 bus maps all show the rush hour route in service. The 1988 map does not show it. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
