But also, as to the day at hand: Wasn't it on or about this date in '84 that the rush-hours only M5 branch that traveled through Riverside Drive up to 157th Street - a route which was descended from the old FACCo Rt. 19 (but in this form only ran since 1965) - was also discontinued for good, likewise due to low ridership? |
