Inconsiderate bus drivers may sound the horn or pump the brakes to show his impatience, but there's no sense in bowling someone over. Perhaps the driver didn't see the women because of blind spots that are usually clear, but unfortunately not always. Using standard caution isn't always enough. Luck more than anything in that environment. In any event the driver will be charged with the accident whether the woman was in a crosswalk or not. |
